Refoaming advice

This is not the exact pair but the woofers are the same as mine except the foam has gone to hell on my set. The speaker diameter is an oddball 12.5" which means most refoaming kits are slightly too small or inches too big. Should it really matter is what I'm wondering? The flat face of the speaker is flush with the outer ring so a 12" flat surround should be fine, right?

According to this image my A is 12.5" and B is 9.25". Many thanks to any suggestions.

Edit: It appears from those pics that surrounds attach to the underside of the face of the speaker. My set attaches to the top.

Well, dimension "A" is not pertinent. Dimension "B" and a measurement of the outer diameter of the surround is what you'll need to get a match. Gordon W, an AK member, will get you the surround if you send him a PM. He has helped other AK'ers with surrounds that are of different styles or sizes.

also, I thought that on those honeycomb woofers there was actually a standard (ish) cone woofer behind there with the honeycomb glued on top. so I'm not sure how that would affect how/where the foam goes but it might actually be angled foam, not flat, if the foam actually attaches to the cone, not the flat piece for example.

Those look like 12" speakers (industry standard measure) to me, so a 12" woofer surround might be o-k. My supposed 12" Infinity woofers are a bit smaller (9" measure for "B"), and a big time speaker service company (O.C. Speaker) had to cut and overlap glue some 12" surrounds to fit correctly. In my case, the foam bulge had to fit perfectly like yours because there is no slack room between the cone and gasket.
