Repair in Orlando

Not sure if this is the right forum but I'm sure someone will tell me if it is not.

I am looking for a recommendation for a service facility around Orlando Fl to do some repair work on my Parasound amp. Really no too interested in shipping it to someone if I don't have to as it weighs about 65 lbs.:no:

Any help would be appreciated.

There used to be a guy off Edgewater in College Park called Smith's, but I am not sure if he is in town anymore. Other than that Electronic Service Labs, ESL, I believe are still in business and may be the only game in town. I, however, cannot highly recommend either of them but they can probably get the job done, eventually,
 
There was a high end audio store in Winter Park on 92 but I don't remember exactly where. I'm pretty sure they would be able to reccomend someone or do the repairs there.
As Bubba said I've never done any business with them so can't give a glowing reccomendation.
Check phone book for audio dealers.
 
There's a guy in the Renninger's flea market (on the antiques side) in Mount Dora. I've never had any work done there, so I can't vouch for him specifically, but I know he always has lots of vintage stuff sitting in the shop -- quite a bit of McIntosh and Nakamichi among them.

ESL sadly went out of business and the place off Edgewater Dr. was a speaker repair business and they've disapperared too.:thumbsdn:

Finding a good repair shop is never easy.
Macdogg, I believe you are talking about Central Florida Speaker. They are still in business, just moved to a different location a couple of miles from their old shop. I had them refoam my Kappas a couple of years ago and they did a great job and were great to deal with. I think I will give them a call tomorrow when they return from the long weekend and see if they can give me a referral.:yes:
