Replacement Barrier Strip for MC250

Does anyone have a source or suggestion on where to acquire replacement barrier strips for an MC250 amp? I have searched just about everywhere on the internet. It will be hard enough to find a part with the correct mounting hole and screw spacing but it appears versions having solder terminals that come through the bottom to go through holes in the chassis are no long made.

I got replacement barrier strips for my 2100 directly from the McIntosh parts department. I also have a 2505 (metered version of 250) and the barrier strips from my 2100 look to be almost, if not, identical to those on the 2505.

I would try McIntosh parts first and see what they say.

Thanks. It would seem obvious but they did not have many parts for a later vintage MC2120 I was restoring so I didn't consider them. May I ask what Mac charged you for the 2100 strip?

I bought them about a year ago and don't remember exactly how much I paid. I think it was in the ballpark of $20 for both strips and four new feet.

Not cheap, but certainly reasonable. I've seen nearly identical strips at hamfests for practically nothing. If I come across more I'll be sure to grab them.

Mcintosh had the barrier blocks in stock

I just called Mcintosh and ordered a pair of MC250 speaker barrier blocks. They were $7 each plus $7 shipping so the effective price was $10.50. I had ordered other parts and lamps from them a couple of weeks ago so I couldn't think of anything else to get to take advantage of the shipping. Thanks again for the tip.
