Here's a book I picked up in a thrift store some time back,it's "A Self-Instruction Guide To Assembly,Installation, and Maintenance In The Home"of your Hi-Fi system, dated 1965.Has 11 chapters, covering everything from "The Makings of Hi-Fi","Money and Music"(still a concern today!! ),"Electronic Components"(heavier...and some with tubes!!),"Kits"...and lots of other information needed to get started as a newcomer or brush up on what you may have already knew about audio back then.Included today are some of the black and white photos of some of the audio components of the day back then. The book goes into great detail on how to incorporate a sound system into your decor, making it "fit" into the look of a room, something more of a concern back then I guess.I was only eleven years old when this publication came out...so my interest had not quite peaked about audio gear, but it would soon!!Enjoy the scans......Rob
