Hi All,
I am Greg. I have been a member for some time now. I just have not been here for a awhile. I am hoping to get some help repairing a Sound Valves ST 70 Amp along with other projects as my time and money allow. I do something called resin casting. At some point someone here was kind enough to send me a Magnavox badge so that it could be copied. Some here might remember that. I have made a mold. They turn out pretty nice. Mostly though I make 1:24/1:25 scale model car parts for fun and extra money.
My wife and I purchased a two acre property here in Sun City, AZ. There is a 800 SF shop on the back of the property. This is my big dog house. My casting shop is set up in there. It has it's own AC and soon will have a full bathroom and a kitchen and a storage room. I need the bathroom, it is a good walk to the house in those desperate moments. As I get older, it's harder to keep the mud in. LOL I am gearing up for retirement.

Hi All,
Thank you for the warm welcome. So....here is a photo of a couple of those Maggy badges that I made. They are made of a clear resin with a drop of red dye added. I was thinking they would be great to install in a home brew project. They could be back lighted to show that a piece of equipment was powered up. The first person to contact me can have these. I only ask for postage reimbursement. Well....Hopefully this won't put admins panties in a twist. There is a company called Molotow, I think. They sell pump type paint pens and markers. They sell a really nice pen that is chrome. Does a great job too. Just allow it to dry a couple of days and spray some clear over it to seal it. They will need a bit of cleanup with a exacto knife blade.
My amplifier resistor problem brought me back here. I found a audio/video club here in Phoenix. I decided it would be fun to join. If only I had a lot of money. I think I could build some nice looking speakers.

I have a few records and reel to reels. Some of the records were on the street to be picked up by the trash guys. I just could not let that happen so I adopted them. The Reels in the gold boxes are older than I am. I think they sound amazing. Some are marked Binaural. Kind'a cool. I have a few 10 inch 33's too. There is close to 12 feet of records. Some are very nice in fancy packaging of the day, or you could say they are audiophile reference records that smart rich folk would have bought. I did buy them, the reel to reels and a lot of vintage gear from a woman. Her husband died, The brother had no interest so I bought the stuff for abought $150.00 One of the items was a Berlant Concertone Reel to Reel tape drive and two 50 amps in a factory custom case. Sure wish I had not sold that item.
