Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was assaulted and injured Monday March 13 while smoking on the porch of a Ft. Lauderdale hotel; an elderly woman who tried to help was also attacked. Allen was charged at full speed and struck his head when taken off his feet. What kind of scumbag would do harm to a one-armed, 60-year-old man and a woman in her seventies? Not who (some) are probably thinking: It was a football player on Spring Break from a Cleveland Catholic High School.
