Oh man. I loved Gomer Pyle when I was a kid, and what a great singer. May he rest in peace. Great man.

Thank you for letting us know.

Andy B.

His name might be Jim but he'll always be remembered as Gomer. Citizen's arrest, citizen's arrest!

The Andy Griffith Show probably had the best cast of characters of any TV show that I have ever watched up until Barney left anyway. They all played their parts so well. They were all so unique and funny and it makes me smile just thinking about them.

Just after I went to orientation at Swift, I was at a terminal waiting for my mentor. The TV in the lounge had The Andy Griffith show on. There were a bunch of young guys watching it and laughing. Warmed my heart to know that some young folks appreciate older shows.

Hats off to Jim Neighbors

I had, just recently, shown my six year old grandson some "Gomer Pyle" show, which he absolutely loved. I put some .avi files on his Thinkpad that I gave him and he watches "Gomer" at home. He tries to interest his step brother who does not show the same interest. We had recently looked up if he was still alive and, at that time, he was. He will be very sad to hear that he died, as I am too. Everytime I think of him, I think of "Citizen's arrest, citizens arrest". One of my and this Country's favorite "Andy Griffith Show".
