Saba Speakers

A local guy is selling a set of Saba speakers for $125. He gave me these specs on the speakers and is it worth the asking price? How many watts is it? Also since it's 4 ohm's I would imagine that any good receiver can drive these speakers no? Thanks.

I've heard SABA speaks, though I don't remember the model, and I was impressed. If they sound good, and the cabinets are in good shape, the price is more than reasonable. I'd buy 'em.

Thanks Lazarus. I couldn't find any info on these speakers and I'm still searching the net. Anyway I'll look at them this weekend and decide if they are worth it.

I can't tell you much. They're German speakers and are no longer made.
The models I've seen were art deco like affairs usually with only a full range speaker or sometimes a two way design. I've always considered them curiosity pieces more than for serious listening.

What you have sounds far more elaborate. They are easily worth the asking price, but I can't vouch for their sound.
If worse comes to worst you can probably get your money back on those EV woofers alone.
