Ok I am not a Sansui expert but here is the deal I can get a 9090 and a set of Sansui speakers with 15" woofer for $300.00 What are your thoughts ???????
The 9090 and speakers suppose to work great. Both are original not restored.

"sansui 9090 receiver with sansui 15 inch woofer speakers , very very loud , very high quality sound. " per seller description.
Thanks in advance
Jim

You better go give it a listen. The 9090 is a very good sounding unit, don't know much about the speakers there. $300 is not a bad price, especially if your ears love it. If you don't like the speakers you could sell them and keep the 9090.

Thanks for the input. I think the speakers are SP-7500X. Never heard them before. geuss i should give it a try. Like I said I am new to Sansui. I see all the high reviews here seen the add and thought maybe I should check it out.
Thanks again

The speakers look like SP-7500Xs. They are good but not great speakers. If they are in good condition they are worth about $150 by themselves. $300 is a good but not great deal.

A 9090 in great cosmetic and operating condition is certainly worth $300.00. I have three sets of Sansui's previous SP line of speakers which I enjoy regularly. The only thing I know about the subsequent "X" models is that Sansui downscaled the cabinet finish to cut costs. Instead of the traditional veneer, they replaced it with contact paper that tended to peel over time so check that. All in all not a bad purchase assuming you can view before purchase and maybe counter offer. Good luck!

Those look like the SP-7500X's I had....and got rid of. I would love one of the receivers but no more of those speakers. I just couldn't find a soft spot for them.
