Schematic for Magnavox 86xx-series single-ended EL84 amp?

Checked about everywhere I could think... for whatever reason, I can't find the schematic for the ubiquitous Magnavox 86-series single-ended stereo amp.

This amp has one EZ81/6CA4 rectifier, one 6EU7 (some models have 12AX7- I could use either version schematic) input tube, and one El84 output tube per channel.

Anyone got the schematic, or one similar? Closest thing I've got is the 196-series...which is close, but not quite (different output transformer layout)...

BTW: I plan to start on your S/C AU-35 amp tomorrow. Getting up the parts list for new caps and such now, and will order anything I don't already have. :thmbsp:

Both the 86XX series maggotboxes I have use combinations of both 86XX and 196 schematics.

The 196 uses a more simple front end, with less part count.
A audio friend liked the idea of the 196 front end better, so he drew up a schematic with the 196 front end using 6EU7.

It was just a matter of ditching R12, R13 ,R10, C5, and C2. And then using a 1.5K cathode resistors for the cathodes of 6EU7. The cathode R for the output tubes was raised to 120 ohms to account for the higher line voltage nowdays, and using a 100 uF 35 volt cathode bypass cap.
The 100 uF value cap gives a wee bit of a boost in the mid to lower 30Hz area.
The feedback is the same with the 6800 ohm fdbk R, but uses a 330 picofarad compensation cap.
The PS is stock 8600 series, CRC with the 6CA4. 100 ohm R's were used off each leg of the 6.3 volt heater supply to ground, to null heater noise.

Dunno what you got planned, but that's what I did......
