Ya, it's odd that they seem so rare, being that RCA made gazillions of mono phono consoles and record players, and was #1 in radios & TVs for eons...my Dad had one of these in the 60s, but it disappeared in a move, and been looking for awhile... I did some web research - I guess they came into the higher end of the market a bit too late to compete with established receivers from Fisher et al. Seems they made some nice mono separates earlier in the 1950s, but apparently they never sold well either... You'd think with an outfit as big as RCA there would be a schematic for an MX-7 floating around someplace!! Did they put out a manual for their service techs or dealers? Any old RCA'ers out there?
