Good stash you got there. Lets hope you can make a few good ones out of some bad ones if theres any bad ones that is. Good Luck.
 
Everyone of the toggle switch covers are missing on the 980 and 780 so I need 14 of them, that is if the pieces are working and worth restoring. Still haven't had a chance to look closer at them but I'm off today, so after I go visit with Dad, I'll start, and then I'll have all day tomorrow so that should give me some time to play.

I would say start from top down function checking, cleaning and then ordering parts for repair...
this keeps you occupied the next several weeks..

If you end up not wanting the 780 I think I could find it a good home with the four of mine!!
 
I still haven't had time to work with them at all. I'm not going to keep any of them because I already have a 1250 and a 1280, but I want to know what I'm selling or trading with so I can give an honest representation of the item to it's possible next owner. The 780 I think is in the nicest condition of them all except for the missing toggle switch covers.
