hi all, anyone here familiar with or own a scott 130 preamp ?
i just bought one(havent got it yet) im hopeing it has a similiar circut as the frontend of my scott 222c. i love the 222c i use in a 1800sq. ft. shop but have to turn the volume up a little more than i would like. i have a pair of allen organ amps (pp 6l6) for the 130

A scott 130 was given to me some time ago, I've done some work to it but havn't got it to run properly yet. Even with it not totally op to par it is an excellent sounding pre but it is a complicated circuit. Many caps that will need to be replaced if stock.
 
They're 'spensive! The power transformer in a 130 is barely up to its task. They're held in very high regard indeed.
