Ok, someone else has to have seen this series - I discovered them on my vacation while channel cruising. It is the dumbest movies I have ever seen yet I was strangely attracted to it. It is too weird.

Then I watched Pulp Fiction which I think is a great movie.

Lavalantua was a much classier film.

Dee Snyder is in Sharknado 6. Watched it last night.
Spoiler Alert! He gets eaten in one bite.

It's funny. It's not made to be taken seriously. Everyone in it is in on the joke.

Another movie that straddles the line between "real" and comedy is "Eight Legged Freaks"

With the classic lines of "this isn't a comedy, is it?" and this conversation
"Roboshark is following me", "run", "no, not following following, twitter following"

It came out the same year as Spiderman and one of the previews for it had a voice over that said "If you see just one spider related movie this year you will miss Eight Legged Freaks" And the great line in the movie where a character responds to the question 'what is that?' with "It's a spider, man"
