Nice! Congrats
That shelf, not knowing how it's mounted, kinda scares me...
Maybe shed some light on it? Better safe than sorry.

Shelf is two 3/4 inch thick pieces of birch plywood wood glued together. 22x 16"
Hand sanded top, sides, and beveled the edges by sight.
Walnut stain. No clear coat.
Mounted on two bronze colored shelf brackets that hold up to 150 lbs.
Mounted on the studs in the wall (pilot holes drilled) with heavy duty drywall screws (hold 75 lbs each) These have very wide threads and the threads are spaced apart.
I'm sure they have a name, but can only think to describe them.

Thanks for all the likes guys!

So nice. Love the mini feet as well. They might not look as "sleek" as the spikes, but I know from my Aires Scout that they're a big improvement. The only thing I'll caution is approach the Unipivot arm with a bit extra care and make use of the cuing until you get used to it. I learned that the hard way when I got just a bit distracted the other night and busted my AT LOMC cart. In any event enjoy your new table. The VPI's sound great and will reward you with years of listening enjoyment. Plus I think you can upgrade to a 300 rpm motor later on (if you have the stock 600 rpm one) if you want a bit more refinement.
It actually came with the 300rpm motor ;)

Even better. Looks like you're set then! I have that on my Scout as well. Seems like the two upgrades of choice with the thicker, aluminum platter being next on the list. But oh so expensive. Did you get a dust cover with it?
Not yet. Was going to, but they're all so expensive.
I've spent almost 2000$ so far, so it will have to wait, sadly.

Enjoy. Love my Scout II too.

Looks like you have a mighty fine table there. I bet it's going to give you many a fine evening spinning your favorite records.
