Hope everyone doesn't laugh at me too hard... but here is a little DIY, picture tutorial of my homemade record vacuum attachment.

Artesian Large Bun Foot, ...purchased from Lowes for $7.98...

Crevice Vacuum Attachment, ...found laying on the floor of my hall coat closet...

Pliers, ...to strip the threads and reduce the circumference of the set bolt...

Pencil, ...to outline wood to be chiseled away...

Dremel & Sanding Block, ...to cut slit and prepare plastic surface to accept glue...

Drill & Chisel, ...to prep for the connection...

Velvet, Packing Tape & Glue, ...packing tape adds rigidity to the velvet and provides a surface to accept glue...
I use this to vacuum-dry my records after cleaning with my Spin-Clean.
This little vac is working really, really well for me... and all at the nominal cost of about $15.
