Great price. Refoam the woofers, wash the grills, and oil up the cabs. These speakers are bound to make someone very happy. They did for me!

Vari-Q is a foam plug that sits in the hole below the crossover controls and left of the cone midrange. If you pull it out completely, its ported enclosure, if you put it in, you can then essentially plug the port and make it a sealed enclosure. It will change the nature of the low bass mostly.
