Son of ampzilla

I have this unit its playing perfectly and sounds great. My only issue is the lights keep burning out within 20 minutes of use. I'm getting 36 volts coming in what else should I look at.

36 volts for the lamp supply sounds quite high, unless this uses multiple lamps wired in series (which would be a unusual design choice). I've no familiarity with Son of Ampzilla, but just putting that out there.

@ivandezande, I was kind of figuring that, but wasn't entirely confident. I have a 1981 model Rodgers organ in which the music rack light uses 14 volt lamps wired in series pairs, and is run from a 24 volt supply. Apparently this extended the lamp life considerably, which is good as the bulb type used (a round bi-pin package, G-3 1/2 or something like that) are long since obsolete. If I ever run out of spares, I'll convert it to an LED strip.

It's 4 bulbs in series. I have 14 volt bulbs in my Son that give the meters a nice warm glow and never burn out. I don't need them burning bright.

The bulbs are CEC Industries #756 Bulbs, 14 V, 1.12 W I bought on Ebay, a 10 pack for $10 shipped.
