Recently this 23 year old unit stopped all sound output from the digital inputs or the "AFD" Auto Format Decode button. Everything works great on all analogue inputs. It is the best sounding piece of audio gear I've ever owned or heard frankly no matter what it's driving. Anyone have an idea what needs fixing or have experience with this model in terms of repairs (loose ground screws, cold solder joints, bad chips, etc.). Just looking for a starting place if anyone has had experience with this beast.
The digital signals are definitely being decoded but the digital sound is not being output. Any and all ideas super appreciated for a new DIY guy for this thing. I do have soldering experience so happy to go there!
