Well.. it’s not True-sonic but Goodmans did make nice speakers. I want to thank everyone for your help.

Yes they did and if the price is right id still pick them up.
I recently picked up a pair of goodmans 212c speakers for a paltry sum and the sound great even in the small cabinets that they came in although the cabinet was desinged to use those particular drivers from goodmans themself.Fwiw theres a Lafayette version of these as well called the sk 210.fwiw heres a picture of my 212c with cabinets and lat picture is the Lafayette version of the same driver.

I had no idea that these speakers could sound this good. They are musical open and image very well. The highs are good and the bass is tight. Good for a speaker made in the fifties.

I purchased these Electro-Voice Aristocrat speakers but have not picked them up yet. I don't recognize the drivers that are enclosed, and the person who sold them could not see the back of the drivers for further ID.

Update: I finally opened the cabinets and to my surprise the speakers are not Goodmans SK-111 versions, they are SK-115. The difference is a heavier cast basket and a 61/4 pound magnet.

Goodmans speakers have a very accurate clear and detailed sound. I really have enjoyed these for the last six months.
