Hi folks!

Long time reader, first time poster. I’m on the hunt for some new speakers. Found someone selling these, but he nor I can find any info on them. 3 way air suspension speakers with the only identifier being the model number of S400. Pics below:

Any ideas?

Eh... you never know until you have a listen. The low frequency specs seem a bit hard to believe, but it wouldn’t be the first time a company found creative ways to measure response. I wouldn’t think they will blow you away by any stretch, but they may sound good... as in mellow, not efficient good. Depending on what you are after, they may be fine.

I can barely look at your pics... The crippling OCD in me is triggered we I see you only have 8% battery left on your phone and I start twitching.. ;)

I agree with LinderK here, odds are they are going to be am radio specials BUT the cabinets appear to be impeccable, grill cloth and if they are cheap. Stranger things have happened and been recorded on this site for less than $50

Probably some "House Brand" possibly packaged with a receiver and turntable by a now defunct retail chain. Think Sears, Montgomery Wards etc.

Possibly interesting, probably not.

I agree with house brand, but probably from a local audio or appliance chain rather than a national retailer like the aforementioned. They weren't shy about stamping their brand names on their stuff.
