Hi yall, i want to buy some speaker cable to run from my newly aquired sansui au 717 to my rare! technics sb 6000a's what kind of gauge should i be using for this kind of equipment is this stuff any good? its kinda cheap

I wouldn't see nothing wrong with it as long as you drop it down to at least 14 awg. That 24 awg is to small.

How long of a run? Good old fashion lamp cord from a hardware store works well. I also like this stuff: http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.co...k-cable-per-foot-15-awg/#product-page-reviews

I prefer outdoor lighting wire to regular lamp cord.

Finer strands and heavier insulation.

You can get it at any hardware store or home center.
