After 20 years and 5 months, and approx. 200k miles, there were some bits and pieces that needed to be replaced. I had a bigger "to do" list, but with some complications with my parts order and the fact that I was very sick this weekend, I'm happy with what I got done.
Leaky steering rack replaced with rebuilt unit.
Front brakes completely rebuilt (new pads, rotors, hoses and caliper seals).
Front ball joints replaced (three of four were dangerously shot, strangely enough one was still in perfect condition).
Front sway bar end links replaced.
Front strut bearings replaced.
Front spring pads replaced
Stripped rust from rear Bilstein shocks and repainted.
Replaced some chipped undercoating and touched up a couple of damaged spots. I still have a bit of bodywork to do, but nothing horrible. The unibody is still extremely stiff.
Still need to do the rear brakes (have to order hoses and the correct pads), differential seal and mounting bushing, rear sway bar bushings and end links, and the trailing arm and subframe bushings (old but still OK). It's nice having a car that doesn't feel like it's trying to kill me. :yes:
