It always amazes me how many differnt speakers there are.

Really cool speakers someone brought over from Germany.

Won't find another pair!

They need to have the foam redone like most old speakers, hence the price.

Cabinets are nice!

It looks like the two rectangles are Ports? seems like they have foam in them.

German white van? IDK

You've obviously discovered that these aren't WV, but I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that they are. They have all the red flags: digital ready, frequency response (although no graph) printed on the speaker, useless chrome trim, ridiculously high power rating. They're probably better than WV speakers, but not by much; just flashy rack system speakers.

I would buy those too. They look like a robot. I like odd looking equipment. The question is how do they sound?

Apparently they made alot of products.

There was a time in the first half of the 20th century when ITT was one of the biggest tech companies in the world and there were science fiction stories written where ITT had taken over the world.

I think it was in the late 90's when they finally closed down their last business unit, which had been turning a meager profit with the production of alternate language phone books. The "technical institute" had long since been spun off.

Scott Adams worked at ITT in some kind of technical capacity. He said "The clue train stopped there at 10 and 2 every day. They just never took delivery."
