Anybody able to shed some light on these speakers? This pic is all I have until they arrive next week...
Google was not my friend!

They look like 1960's house brand. Probably a cheap paper cone tweeter and low cost woofer. The cabinets are probably good enough to justify popping a decent tweeter in there. All just wild guesses but that's my 2 cents.

Thanks for your response! I was looking at the details zoomed in and I'm hoping they are worth saving. I saw the pull tabs for the grill, the nice texture on the socks, The milled edges...The name was impressive as there is a company in Holland that goes by Stradivari, looks to be nice stuff. There was also some ESS/Altec in the sale...no shipping on those. The Cat had some good taste. Should have made the midnight run on those alone, but I promised to work.
All input welcome, it's what makes this fun...I picked up some AR3a for $1.25 earlier this month so I'm still ahead a bit!

Hey, just chiming in, but I came across a mismatched (different models) pair of Stradivari speakers at the local goodwill(which is kind of a dumping ground for the Seattle area audio community, so nice rare/nice stuff isn’t uncommon: Beogram 5000, Marantz 950, etc. always missing a cartridge or driver, no pair, whatever).
Anyway, I believe they *are* of the Sonus Faber Stradivari pedigree. The made in Holland speaker mentioned above, which sell new for $20k+, just mid-century examples. Like how Audionics of Oregon made some dope early stuff before becoming Audionics Fosgate, then Rockford Fosgate. The drivers in the ones I saw were high-grade for the era, and overall very well put together. One model was called the “Strad III”. Exact same grill tags as your pic. Someone had replaced the tweeter with an chintzy Realistic, lol!

Value? No idea! Sound? No idea, but I have/had rare, high-end vintage stuff (powered Advents, Rtr EXP-8s) that is always handily beaten by newer equipment(Infinity Kappa 6.1 series 2s, Polk RT-7s), so I wouldn’t expect them to be mind blowing by today’s standards, be they Dutch or not.

Thanks for your response! I still have these. They are pretty nice cabinets. I have them in storage, as they require some work. Cool they have the same badge... Yes, my AR 3a $1.25 bargain pair with no grill's have a bogus tweet!. Hey, at 57 and half blind speakers are something I can work with/ repair. Not so much with other gear! Thanks for your response and you have no idea how lucky you are living in your area as far as vintage gear. I shop on SGW, and other online auctions. I'll get to the resto hopefully during the holidays, and post my results. Love to see some pics of your speakers... Funny, I was born in Ft, L.
1960. Getting back to your area, is on my bucket list, beautiful country, and the chow looks sublime!

Hi - I picked up a pair almost identical - given to me at a charity vinyl sale - unfortunately mine have been used and abused and most recently in a flood. I tried them once soon after I got them but they obviously needed work and I just never got to it. What do you think of them??? Did you ever get them going?

I also saw the web page for Stadivari in Holland but they say in their "story" that they have only been making them for 28 years and these are obviously older than that! https://www.stradivariaudio.com/story/
