Strike 3, you're out!

The only thing this guy has right is the price... although I've seen cleaner TCD 310MkII's for $20.

1) Spelled the brand wrong - though not uncommon with Tandberg

2) Always taken care of - I guess the bleached out side panels and filthy top panel (right-hand end) don't count

3) Has a built-in amp? Really? And an AM/FM, plus a tuner? Wow...

I guess you could make a case for Tandberg being the best at one time... or close to it.

I gave him a pass on that, as well as likely getting his name & e-mail address correct :D

LOL! The things people make up on the spot. Imagine what the transport looks like if the outside has been "taken care of" like that!

EDIT: I am so evil.

Email:

"Hi!

I'm confused. I can't tell from the pictures where you hook the antenna up.

Thanks..."

Muhahahaha!

OMG... he's replied.

"Thanks for your question. There is an attachment on the back of the unit for the antenna. Let me do this... Let me go over to my storage unit tomorrow and take a closer picture of the back of this thing for you and then email that to you so you can see where the antenna hooks up to."

(howls)

Now that's funny... although it really just shows the guy doesn't know audio gear very much, if at all.

Do you want to lay bets on which one of the rear panel jacks he designates the antenna? I'm going with the DIN jack marked "RADIO".

Regardless, if he does supply that info you have to go back with the next question: "How do you change the stations?"

I may have to offer the guy $20 for the beater just to heal our collective karma from messing with him.

To be fair to the guy, it is Klamath Falls. It's a bit backwards there...even by Southern Oregon standards.
