Stupid questions, you hear them everyday...

Ok, here's the scenario:

You've been out all afternoon with the boys, drinking beer, eating peanuts, pizza, and chili cheese nachos. You go home, and the wife fixes you a little snack for dinner because you're not really that hungry. She wanders down the hall to take a shower, you grab a glass of wine, maybe a cigar, and plop down in your recliner. Pretty soon, you feel a slight twinge, raise up a little, and pop off a fart. Within moments you're basking in the magnificent bouquet that could only be yours. This passes, but shortly thereafter, you are enveloped by the same unique scent, but this time you haven't farted . Only then do you notice that your dog has snuck up along side your recliner, and the odor was not you, but actually a combination of leftover meatloaf, Gravy Train, and the other half of the dead squirrel you found in the back yard, compliments of the pooch.

The question is - Why hit the dog with the newspaper and run him outside? It was just fine when you thought it was yours!!

If farting is so funny, how come nobody ever laughs their ass off when they fart all alone? It takes a village I guess.

My favorite question is always asked at work on the Air Force Base while I'm in uniform...
"What's your name?"
Well...... each and every one of us in uniform wears a fairly good size name tag on the shirt or jacket breast.

It goes to Onety-One...

I am really tickled so many of you picked out "Onety-One".

It's one of my all-time favorites. :thmbsp:

The other day I was out working beside the road on a bus that had stopped running. I had the village idiot stroll around the back of the bus as I'm putting some liquid in the fuel tank and ask me if the bus had died. As quick as I could I said, "Nope, it's just running real quiet so I'm putting some clatter fluid in it."

I really wish I'd have had a sign for him.

How do you know that?

If a guy farts in a forest and there's no woman around to hear or smell it, is it still gross? (I dunno, my farts smell OK to me.) :dunno:

Gotta love it when a client calls me and says about their computer...

"It just started doing this today"

To which I would like to reply "And that's why you didn't call me yesterday! :D

At casino player will give you two five dollar chips and ask you for some ones. I answer them, why didn't you ask for hundreds?
What else do people think they are going to get for that? :uzi:

In the UK apartments are generally known as flats!

In posh areas they call them apartments,

In London every year people get to vote on London’s Ugliest Building Award, sadly most of the contenders are 1960s office blocks and flats.

The worst station award went to Clapham Junction, in London, the busiest station in the UK. My own worst station is Euston Station in London. Always full up and nowhere to sit down other than the floor.

I've often been accused of having a far too inquisitive mind for my own good. Be that as it may, I often ask questions for which there are no easy or convenient answers, here are a few examples.

Does it hurt if you get Brittany Speared?

Why is it my fault that, having lifted the lid of the commode so as not pee on it, that my wife falls in because she refuses to turn the light on at night to see?

Where is Earnest, and why does it begin snowing there first?

Why is there a permanent press setting on the iron? If you have to iron it, then it isn't really permanent press, and if it's permanent press, you really shouldn't have to iron it, right?

Why do drive-up ATM's have Braille instructions on them?

Are Zagnuts a candy or an STD?

Why should anyone crazy enough to want to hold political office, be allowed to have the job?

Finally, here's one I know the answer to, as my mom told me. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? The answer; A Chuckload!

Just wondering. :)
A great old post. @fotno was one oh AK's best.

And why do so many bottle instructions on the label tell you to "shake before taking the medicine"... and how does this help you?

Walking down the street as the snow begins to fall and some lady walking with her teenage daughter actually says "Is it snowing?" To which I replied "No, a giant with really bad dandruff is scratching his head." Her daughter couldn't stop laughing.

I work IT at our service desk. Got an interesting call at work the other day...

Call comes in, he explains the problem and asks if I think I can fix it.

I told him half jokingly that we were going to give it the old college try.

He comes back with, "I didn't go to college".

Having read some of questions tech support gets about computers, I can only imagine you IT folks must get some whoppers!

My favorite is the one about the automatic cup holder that breaks when a 32 oz beverage is placed upon it. So, someone actually mistook the CD/DVD drive tray for a cup holder. ???????

I seen a lady stuck in a snow drift and while I was walking to the back of my van I said “ don’t you just love winter! “ then she started yelling something in another language ! Until she seen my snow shovel and realized I was going to help dig her car out ! Lol
