Never heard of this device before. Does it solve a legitimate problem? Seems to me that it might cause more harm then good. I wonder if the seller is an AK'r, seems pretty knowledgeable.

Craigs List Copy:
Selling my original Sumiko Flux Buster. Those of you enjoying vinyl know this is for de-magnetizing your moving coil or moving magnet phono cartridge periodically for best sound. I am the original owner and the unit works fine. Don't think I have the box or manual anymore....but operation is quite simple. Plug the tonearm cable rca's into those A-B inputs or if your headshell is removable, hook it into the receptacle. Push the rocker switch for chA channel - the operating light blinks for a few seconds while working, push the rocker switch for chB...when it stops you are done. Repeat as necessary.

Selling for $65. No trades. BTW I have over 500 ebay 100% positives since 1998. Out of state $75 plus shipping expenses.

MC demag

It looks like a demagnetizer for MC cartridges.
Supposedly MC's get a flux around them from time to time and need to be demagged.
NOT FOR USE ON MM Carts.
Your MC cart. info is the best place to find out more information about this.

Use with care.

Hi Rob:

I could swear I saw a thread on this under turntables. I think also there was a Stereophile review. Good luck!
