Hi,

Somebody unloaded a bunch of records by these two labels at the Salvation Army. I picked up some of the classical ones. They are mainly pipe organ. They sound really good and seem to be high quality. The album covers are picture quality. The recordings say they are all from Czechoslovakia. So I assume this is a Czech label or is it Russian? The recordings are from the 70's. Anyone else seen these before?

Supraphon was (is?) a Czech label. Excellent quality, recordings and pressings! The Commie DGG!
 
Yes they both were Czechoslovakia records, they are good quality. Melodija was USSR record company, they had very different records, some are good and others are very bad. I have Melodija, Supraphon and Opus records in my collection.
