SX-1280...Heart failure AND brain dead, yet it LIVES!

In my opinion, and it's one of the best opinions you'll find, the 1280 is much better looking than the 1250, and better looking than the 1980 too....aint that right Crooner? :D

That SX-1280 takes me back....back to 1979..I remember the feel of those days, driving my 1973 Grand Prix, with the turbo 400 tranny, and 455 c.i. engine, spin the tires through third gear,..ahhhh..my biggest worry was combing my hair correctly for my dates every Saturday night. Cruising Forest Lane on the weekend, at the time, Forest Lane was rated right up there with Van Nuys Blvd for the best cruising in the car magazines. There would be hundreds of kids out there. Playing Boston's first album, songs like "More than a feeling", "Are you feeling Satisifed?" going by Pacific Stereo, gawking at the gear...ahhhh. I wanna go back daddy!

As an FYI, VintageNut is sending a toggle switch cover for the power switch that has the proper plastic insert, so even that small issue will no longer exist.

Mucho thanks buddy!! :thmbsp:

No, thank you EW. Here's the deal guys, In exchange for the knob, EW has agreed to offer free repairs for all AK members for all of 2006! Wow, that's impressive. He'll even pay the postage.......wait......or was that a dream I had last night?.....
