taking the DIY plunge with Juicy Music phono-amp

Greetings: long time visitor..first time post. I looked hard at the Bottlehead Seduction but decided to go with Juicey music's phono-pre amp kit "Tercel". The printed circuit board looked easier to deal with than point-to- point wiring. There seems to be quite a bit of room to do the soldering.
I don't know if anyone has done this kit already and has any advice. It's been a long time since I did this. My first amp was a Dynaco that I wired some 30 years ago before I could drive!

If it is anywhere as nice as the phono section of the BB is reported to be, you are in for a treat. Please post pics and opinions when you are done!
 
I'm excited to see how this will turn out. I bought a Peach and love it -- I may need a Tercel soon :)

The circuit board should be very easy to work with, no doubt easier than point to point.
 
Mark is an excellent designer; that phono pre should be excellent. It would be very interesting to A/B it with Doc Bottlehead's Seduction phono preamp kit.

That's good though should you run into any problems with your build.

I liked what I heard with the Blueberry/Peach and NOSValves tube amps, just need to buy one now.

Hey, don't forget... you've got a nice stereo push-pull 6V6 stereo Magnavox amp sittin' in my basement waiting for you to reclaim it, Cabinover! It'd probably go nicely with a Merlin or a Blueberry...

Yeah I know, time is all I need. I'll get down there someday sooner or later. Too many irons in the fire at the moment though and I still have my EL-34 PP running the Cornwalls for the time being.
 
I could mail it to you if need be... but probably better for you to pick it up if conditions permit. It's safe where it is (except, possibly, from the Cats from Heck).
