Tandberg tcd330 - need help

Hello friends
I ask for a little help
i have a tandberg tcd 330 which has the following problem
rewind does not work
when I press the rewind button the forwind light also turns on and does not rewind
advancement works fine
I have thoroughly checked all the resistors and diodes on the logic board where there are the activation buttons and they are intact
the various transistors ditto
I changed the electrolytics and tantalum but did not solve the problem

Sounds like a logic issue, have you tried to check the specific gate settings vs. what the manual indicates for Rewind mode? Not trivial to do so, it's a tough machine to work on in terms of accessing boards to make measurements while the transport is actually connected and functional, but I don't know how else you would go about it. Just to me seems likely that the issue is in that logic board based on the wrong indicator coming on and no rewind occurs.

I'd also go through it looking for cracked solder joints or anywhere a plug or edge connector is plugged to a board, make sure there's no bent pins or connector misalignment etc.

Ho provato tutti i controlli e controllato entrambi i punti e sistemato i bilanci in ogni parte ho provato anche a sostituire dei transistor che andavano bene con altri angoli
niente è cambiato
tutte le funzioni prima della riproduzione della registrazione vanno bene
solo la funzione di riavvolgimento senza la cassetta inserisce il motore funziona bene con la cassetta non va
la cosa strana è che quando è in gioco la luce led del vento resta accesa e si accende anche quando premo rewind
 
None of the things you mention checking or adjusting are likely to be associated with this issue. The TCD 330 uses an old style gated (binary) logic for the transport control, and from the symptoms there is an issue with that logic, which is driven by numerous logic IC's on the transport control board.

You really need someone expert in this type of gated logic to troubleshoot it and identify any failed components as a first step. It is not a DIY project, believe me.

At that point, a good/used part may be the solution. Alternatively a complete working logic board from another TCD 330 may become available, but that can be a risky purchase. I have a few failed boards from the TCD 330 myself, and I've also spent many hours trying to salvage one of these before I decided it wasn't time well spent.

It's a similar situation with the gated logic on the 9000-series open reel decks but in that case there have been some replacement IC's available on eBay but I believe by a seller in Russia so that door may be closed as of now.
