Tannoy HPD 315 Crossovers

Gentlemen,

I need some help/advice. I'm in the process of restoring some old Tannoy 315's. The speakers have been completely redone. (New Surrounds and voice coils ect..).

The issue is that one speaker is less detailed and slightly lower volume than the other. I think it must be a crossover problem.

Does anyone here have any experience with Tannoy HPD crossovers? What should I do? Can the componets on the crossover be replaced? Who does this work?

Lots of info at Hans' Tannoy Monitor Gold site. There are a few HPD 315A crossover schematics here. Parts may not be cheap, but should be available.
 
Have you tried swapping the crossovers or speaker drivers to the opposite speakers? It would be interesting to see "where the problem goes" when this is done. If the problem STAYS with the crossover (i.e, goes to the other speaker driver), then you know you have a crossover problem. If it stays with the SAME speaker driver (even with the OTHER crossover), then it's a speaker problem...
