Who knows anyone who can repair this unit? I have replaced a belt but it plays to fast. Any help?

when its playing did /has the belt rode up on the motor pully? Should be in the center. Also if you dont install the belt correctly it will play in the same direction. for/rev englissa

Check with what englissa said, but you probably need to adjust the motor speed. The adjustment is either a hole in the back of the drive motor (small flat head for driver), or a pot on a circuit board.

It plays both ways fine just to fast. I will take it apart and see if i can make an adjustment first.

Old thread brought back to life. Found the motor speed adjustment and got it spot on. Wonderful sounding deck . I own a lot of tape decks and this rates as one of the better ones i have used. Giving my Naks a run more the money.
