Technics SA-DA15 Receiver
After being on for few minutes, the "Overload" message displays and the sound shuts off. It is in stereo mode. I have swapped speakers, moved them from A to B outputs, unplugged the receiver. Nothing helps. Any ideas? Thanks

unplug the speakers and test it again. If the problem goes away, you have a short in your speaker wiring.

If the problem remains there is an internal failure inside the amp. IIRC, these have the class H power packs which run very hot. If you're lucky they just need to be resoldered to the board. If a terminal or two breaks loose, it can cause an offset condition and shut the machine down. Make sure the power supply is completely discharged before you do any work in the machine.
