So, what's the story with replacement feet on the 1500?

I just finished servicing my SL-1500 and realized the feet on it are completely trashed. Looked online, found a place called mnpctech that makes very expensive, and unfortunately tall, feet for the 1500. Any used feet online are no better than the rotting feet on my 1500....

The feet on my 1500 have rotted almost completely away, my turntable is now picking up low freq feedback at moderate volumes. I need to get something figured out, and it can;t make the TT too much taller as it is in a cubby and the lid barely has enough room to open as it is....

So, anyone have a solution??

Yes I have the same problem with the feet on my sl-1950. To further complicate things, the front and rear springs are different weights so if you bought on eBay, you don’t know what you are getting. Someday I will probably get the MNPCtech. Should have bought pre pandemic when they were 100

These should work

The mnpctech's might add too much height to my TT, making it so the lid may not stay up on it's own (it's in a cubby with just enough room as it is). But, I may still consider because they look like they are well designed....

The eBay ones are 3D printed, meaning no isolation. I'm currently experiencing rumbling feedback if I play the music above a certain volume. So, I don't think those will help......

The McMaster Carr ones may be worth a shot, but as was pointed out, the thread size is different. On the SL-1500, it is through-hole, so the hole can be enlarged. However, at 35 pounds rating, I think they'd not offer any isolation at all.....
