Hey guys... I may have a chance to pick this up for $200. Seller says every works but plinth has a few dings. Also missing lid cover. $200.

Is this table worth my time in this condition? I don’t “need” it but it looks pretty nice.

Opinions appreciated.

I was looking at that one myself, but I have too many turntables as it is. :-) The little research I did on it indicated it was a good quality table (audiophile even), but the P mount cartridge seemed to be a big drawback (basically there is a lack of choices out there for P mount cartridges). Having said that, if your not a cartridge swapper, then the P mount is perhaps not a big concern. I also found out there are P mount-to-1/2 inch adapters available, so you could essentially use any cartridge, but I don't know if there are any issues with using such an adapter. The dings in the plinth don't look too bad … could be repaired pretty easily, or just touched up with some matching stain to hide them.

It's funny that you offered $200, as that's the amount I was considering offering, mostly due to the lack of a dust cover. But as they say on Shark Tank, "I'm out". :-)

I say grab it. Probably won't see many of these for sale.

Yeah, I had to look up P mount and was disappointed with the options out there. I’m really not familiar with that type of cart.

I’m on the fence about the table as I’ve got my eye on a couple others. The lack of dust cover kind of puts a damper on it too.

Maybe you should buy it and solve my dilemma? :p

I’m gonna see how I feel about it in the morning and might go out and take a look...

Oh, and you have too many tables? Anything you might be interested in letting go to help lighten the load? I’m right here in Phoenix! Lol
