I sold some hifi and usually i buy new hifi instead of using the money for food, cloth or something that won't last that long.
I found out that a Technics SU-8600 is a very good amp that sounds good to and since the SU-8080 i could find is atleast 50% more expensive then the SU-8600, i bought the SU-8600, waiting for it to arrive in a few days.
I didn't knew the SU-8080 is the top of the line amp, but it is, despite having the same power, watt the SU-8080 has four 80V / 10,000µF caps where the SU-8600 has only two 15,000µF caps.
Despite both having just above 2x70 watt in 8 ohm, the difference in caps are noticeable, 1/3 more in the SU-8080.
What difference does that do for the music when playing elektronic music (bass) or playing 50% or higher of the max power and whey this difference in µF ?
Can the SU-8080 handle more difficult speaker loads?
