A post this moring got me googling. I ended up here...

Seems he is a sound genius, did audio for the Grateful Dead and recorded their shows way back when.

But that's just the tip of the iceburg. Seems he invented LSD. The Steely Dan song Kid Charlemagne is about him. But read his essays (and per the rules, don't introduce your opinions about some of his politically charged ideas). He is clearly very smart, but certainly unusual.

He's an avid environmentalist and says Global Warming is a hoax. He eats pretty much an all meat diet and seems to be healthy as a horse. Audio genius and thinks digital is better. Fascinating.

Take care,

Ed

Are you sure you got that right?

Albert Hoffman invented LSD in '38, tripped his brains out, and died at 102.

Not to take away from Bear's picks.

Naw, he (Oswley Stanley) just perfected the kitchen-lab variety. His product was much in demand on those San Francisco Nights. Steely Dan's song Kid Charlemagne seems to be about him. I guess the early Grateful Dead song Alice D. Millionaire (say it out loud) was about him too.

Alice D. Millionaire (say it out loud)

Help me out here. I've been saying it out loud for a minute and the dog is starting to wonder. What is it suppose to sound like.
