The fob and recurring charges, I do too. It's the underlying infrastructure I'm talking about and the fob is made possible by that... and real time tracking and taxing, issuance of tickets and violations, use allotments... all in the works. Industry white papers discuss it with no reservations... the fob thing is just something that gets attention because the recurring costs bring it forward ahead of the rest. I get that some people have no reservations about having a cop or a bureaucrat or the air resources management department riding with them because that is to a large extend what is being installed in private cars, transponders included. Some aftermarket scan tools show some of this that can be service related... some is not available without special dealer or manufacturer only scan devices. At some point in the not too distant future it might become an issue for many.I think it’s a non issue.
I hear you. Not worried here but aware, nothing is a surprise anymore.I spend more time worrying if I will have a proper bowl movement.
I’ll take that last emoji as your answerIts news because the people who wrote the article just found out about it![]()
Unless you are shuffling what you put your cereal in , it's Bowel .I spend more time worrying if I will have a proper bowl movement.
Do you buy bottled water?I for one, am sick of recurring "subscription" type fees.
Electricity and water, i understand.
Cable/internet/phone, I accept (and let's not diverge into "cutting the cord" posts)
...but anything else- NO THANK YOU. You already had your hand in my pocket on the purchase.
Yes, and all of them are not unionized. VW tried to unionize and failed.Exactly, plenty of Japanese cars made right here in the US that provide TONS of jobs for Americans. We have Hyundai and Mercedes here in Alabama. I think VW is in Tennessee
There are two production plants in Alabama alone. How do you figure a massive facility like doesn’t creat thousands of jobs? From being employed directly to truck drivers all the way to catering companies make money from them being where they are.Tons of jobs for Americans?? merc and Vw?? tons?? hardly.
You typed it not meCunning, not![]()
