The Good Morning (Your First Logon for the Day) Thread

Good Morning! Sunny and 37 F for the walk. Things still a bit damp from yesterday. Higher elevations got some snow, but none here. Will fire up the antique TV today, but no real interest in the game except for nostalgia's sake.

Note for HK/Chris: I ordered a DVD documentary about military engineers, and the company sent a free bonus DVD, a random pick from their catalog. It turned out to be a biography of Frank Zappa!

Good morning, about 25° out. Got up at 6 and sat in the hot tub and then went to the man cave and continued working on some database software I’m writing that catalogs my media collection.

Later today my wife and I will probably go out for a drive in our new Tesla MY while the roads are vacant. No, I don’t watch football (or anything else: TV, movies, etc.) and never will. Too many better things to do.
 
God Morning Folks. It's 10f on the frosty porch. Just a few chores before the big game today. The diesel stove down in the basement needs a cleaning. By 3 pm The Wife and I will be up at the Saloon waiting for the game to start. For the event, I'm making my fried food favorite, Chicken Tenderloins in Italian Bread Crumbs. Of course I doctor up the crumbs with garlic and chili powder for a little zing! Have a great day everyone and my your team WIN!

Good morning. It’s 34° and I just came in from a session in the hot tub. It’s a big day as I see the urologist and get my artificial urinary sphincter activated. It was surgical installed 5 weeks ago to replace the previous one. And, yes, yesterday my wife and I did get out for a drive and there is so much to learn about this car. I tried out the AutoSteer and was amazed how well it works.

Good morning all! Well, game day went very well. Rain had stopped long enough for us to squeeze in some steaks on the grill. We also had some cooked asparagus, and home-made mac and cheese, delish.

Game was good, anybody's game until the end. Half-time wasn't too bad, not my style of music, but he did a good job with it.

Today is just chillaxin in the loft. My new glasses are in, might go down and pick those up.

Late good morning to all! Had blood draw this a.m.; they ran a half hour late.

Computer guy called to arrange pickup of old machine this afternoon to transfer data. When I got home, called back to see if I could save him a trip by taking the backup drive to him. However, he was out and the guy there wasn't too clear about how he planned to do it, so now I'm waiting for him to arrive and see if I can at least save him having to lug the old machine to the shop.

Good Morning Folks. 1st Logon took some time this morning, computer issues. I'm using an a 2012 MBP which has been used to copy DVDs to hard drive. My daily use computer had a cup of coffee yesterday and is drying out. The monitor is not lighting up. I used HDMI wire to connect the computer to my TV and computer is fine. I like the big monitor! The internet says let the computer dry out for a few days. I took the back cover off and it's sitting 3 feet away of my wall heater. Driving into town in a few minutes, I need to replace the fuel filter on the diesel stove. Have a great day everyone.
 
Happy Monday,

I had breakfast with 2 dear friends from school days. We broke up the chit chat after 3 hours. Been trying to do that monthly in the last year. Now that we have the time.

Sunny day in the high 40's now, but snow is coming tomorrow morning. Predicted to fall from 4am to 4pm, 5 to 8 inches deep. Not too bad.
I have snowblower and generator ready. I'll probably need the former, hopefully not the latter.
