Dang. That stinks. No fun loosing heat and crawling around in this weather.Cold air intake on the furnace frosted over, again!
The intake is a 90° elbow (with a critter cover) not far from the ground, so that wouldn't work.Dang. That stinks. No fun loosing heat and crawling around in this weather.
I hope the board trick works, seems it would help. Could you slip a piece of stove pipe or such to extend the exhaust, or extend the intake ? Or are there limits to what the system requires ? I'm not familiar with it.
I got the oil tank filled yesterday, got the 5 cent senior discount. Brought it down to $3.53 gal. I've paid more, but still 'Ouch'.
Mrs. Kid's new library had 1/2 of it's heating systems fail 2 weeks ago. The worst possible timing. One system is still functioning , but the other has a leak. They charged it last week and now it's not working again. This weekend they're discharging, fixing, recharging the system...that's gonna be an expensive fix.

High 19.
So, since I am up now, may as well get out there and truly chillax while I can.
Keyless entry systems are far from being the same. My favorite that I have owned are the proximity sensor type in VW’s - no buttons.Wyoming is sending you warmer weather, mid 40's today, mid 50's tomorrow. Make me want to grab a pole and head to the lake! But my trustworthy car has a broken windshield so I won't scratch that itch today , maybe Monday after the rookies get done beating up the water over the weekend. I haven't received all my paperwork to do my taxes, nor have I prepared things I need to sell to pay cash for a different vehicle, probably a little newer but no vehicle without a keyed entry, keyless, that just insane in the wilds of wyoming. It's just about 40f already so it should be a good day to get outside and get the stink blown off me.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and take breaks if you got shoveling to do, the snow doesn't care if it kills you trying to remove it. john
