I sold my Kenwood 650T- (A bronze 600T) before I started doing the Shootouts. Just a need for money, sad to say. So, I haven't had one here for testing. I owned and loved it for many years. My friend who loans me these tuners to do the Shootouts on has about 110 tuners in his collection. At this point, he has neither a Kenwood 600T or Sansui TU-9900. Why do you say the 917 is a lesser tuner?

By the way, with a 110 tuners in the "warehouse" there is no reason for me to even own a tuner. I can have and keep anything from a Marantz 10B to a Dyna FM-3. From a Kenwood L-02T to a .......... Magnum Dyanlab and anything in between.
