The Onkyo Integra A-8067, a sleeper find of 1985 vintage.

With my Sansui AU-7700 at QRX Restore for 9 weeks after a quoted 8 to 10 week queue, I picked up this integrated off of Craigslist.
It's the most Sansui sounding like integrated I have heard, rated at 80 wpc and loaded with inputs and features.
I broke my QS-1 out of it's Styrofoam shell and plugged it into one of the REC outs with the FX-Audio 01J in-between to handle the fronts.
A Sansui A 7 is handling the rear surrounds
I plugged the following into the A-8067, my Smart TV and Mini Mac into my Audio-gd DAC-19 and plugged that into AUX in.
My Reference Audio Mods CD player into the CD direct.
My Sony SACD / DVD front outs into the Onkyo Integra and the rear surrounds into the Sansui A 7.
An inexpensive Kenwood tuner into the Tuner direct input.
I can play everything plugged into the Onkyo Integra directly or through the FX Audio 01J into the QS-1.
Watching the four needles on the QS-1's move is mesmerizing.
How does everything sound?
Well, there are nearly an unlimited number of settings, but so far I like my TV, Mac Mini and SACD / DVD better through the QS-1.
Everything else sounds better directly through the Onkyo Integra.
When my AU-7700 returns, the Onkyo Integra A-8067 is going to take the place of the Sansui A 7.
The Onkyo Integra A-8067 is my second best ever audio buy.
Since, someone is going to want to know, my best buy ever was discovering the Raytheon CK-5694, a non-audio tube intended for a piece of Texas Instruments test gear that makes the best 6SN7 substitute ever made, it featured a non-standard octal pin-out, which required me making custom adapters.
I think most Sansui lovers will enjoy the Onkyo Integra, especially for the money.

yes second thread on this, other one quoted purchase price and the OP was scared off of putting that in the general forums so posted it in buck and change for fear of the tow truck moving it. Probably wouldn't happen if he didn't ask the value but hell he ain't got no pictures there either.

I'm sure he knows the rules, pics or it did not happen!!!

I didn't know the rule about pictures, I will try and get some tomorrow in daylight.
I only posted about it a second time because I got my QS-1 into the circuit.

I forgot I had a picture of the QS-1, will post the A-8067 tomorrow.

As far as price, I don't know how to break it out, I got this, a tube tester and a pair pf RTR's for $500.
Sold the tube tester and RTR's before I saved the pictures.

When trading with friends it's impossible to break out individual prices.
About a year ago I friend gave me a mint AU-7700 in exchange for $300 in cash, an FX Audio 01J, a linear power supply and 4 pairs of 6AK5's, I felt I owed him more.
A couple of months ago, he wanted better speaker cables, I gave him a 10 foot set of Silver Sonics, current list $240, but I knew I was never going to use them again, sorry I didn't take a picture of the cables.
Here's the AU-7700:

I didn't know the rule about pictures,

I don't use those cartoon drawing things so my words come out as words. Just giving you a hard time, don't take it so personally. The pics or it didn't happen is a common refrain on ak sorry this rubbed you the wrong way enough to send a PM from a non-public account that I can not respond to so here it is in public.

No problem, I should know the rules of the forum, I am posting in.
I took "pics or it didn't happen as being called a liar".
Why would I make up a lengthy fictitious post?

No intent to call you a liar.
1) akers love pictures
2) akers have pictures and words to say they want to see pictures. You saw the one in the second post and there is this one, also:
Pichers.jpg
and then there is the wording I used. All in good fun, all wanting to see the gear you like.

3) finally there is April 1...not every year but many years there are claims of a phenomenal purchase, unobtainium gear or too much to comprehend, complete early Marantz tube units and such purchased for pennies that gets the buck and change forum all giddy until the date is noted in the thread. This is frequently when you see the lengthy fictitious posts. We didn't think you were doing anything other than leaving out the pictures.
