Thicker terminal....positive or negative?

Hello,

I got replacement mids from Klipsch for a pair of Heresy II's and can't figure out which terminal is positive and which is negative. The stock driver had a dot for positive, but the replacement has no dot, one wider terminal and one more narrow terminal.

Anyone know?

regular house power, AC, the larger of the two prongs is negative... dunno how that helps with a speaker driver though.

Every speaker I've seen is large->positive small->negative. YMMV.

Cant you just check with a battery to confirm?

I don't know, can I? It's a horn loaded diaphragm, so I can't see a cone move in or out.

I have a multimeter....can it be tested that way?
