While I understand that humor is tied to the zeitgeist and the era one grew up in, at 45, I cannot understand humor of this sort.

It's like Hollywood doesn't even try anymore.

Ingredients for 95% of movies - a Superhero. Tits. Blood and fire. More tits. Sequel.

Sorry, but I just don't understand, and I'm very far from being a prude.

Many of us find it funny, and are not perpetually offended by everything.

I myself am not offended by much of anything at all, but tasteless is still tasteless and unfortunately doesn't require any real creativity to be so.

@MannyE you are correct, sir, but what if the sheer marketing (product tie in, restaurant tie ins, etc) were spent on an actual GOOD movie instead of the incredible superhero/sequel merry-go round we been on for 15 or so years?

I know it's money talks, and bull feces walks, but still....

Well I DO like funny, and both Team America and this movie trailer are both funny. But Geeez! I also like John Waters stuff.

What's wrong with John Waters? Should mention that I'm from Baltimore and John lived a few floors above me in Temple Gardens Apartments.

I thought the trailer was funny and enjoyed Team America.

Jim Henson's original creative sensibility of humour that translated easily to other languages and culture. It was universal.

His early SNL skits were great. There was one about aliens reproducing, but couldn't find it on YT.

Just a Rosanne Barr wannabe, I find both about as funny as a screen door on a submarine, pass.

Roseanne was funnier in her early days, before Tom Arnold came around. I haven't seen much of Ms. McCarthy. I found the back story to this movie and what the Hensons have branched into to be very interesting.
