If they are anything like the M1's I used to have, they are winners. One of the most-fun speakers I've ever owned.

Well I pulled the trigger on the M5's.
Its hard to think that these are the smallest of the series.....they are 50" tall and are 75lbs each!!

Well I have to say that they do VERY well. Very impressive bass from just 2 6.5" drivers.
They do a very good job of disappearing into my room. Very open, airy sound and one of the best sound stages.

I thought I would never be able to say this about 6.5" woofers but on 60 watts of tube power, they can laterally rattle the house.

Got some live Jazz recordings going through them now and it is just sex to my ears.

Glad you're enjoying them :music:

My M1's were 185 pounds each

I have a set of sound dynamics speakers that use mirage drivers and for 2 5" drivers they have excellent bass as well, front and rear ported so i would have to assume they may have some type of transmission line porting going on.

So far i like the way they sound great with just about anything, so i can only imagine what a nice set of mirages sounds like. The set i have are rts-7b-1, so far i would say the best 100 i have spent on speakers.
