C CavScout Super Member Dec 30, 2019 #1 I dusted off an old Toshiba SA-735 today and cleaned the pots and switches. It sounds great but I noticed that it is only working in MONO. When I switch it to stereo the sound only comes out of one side. Does anyone know the likely culprit for this kind of problem ?

rickl I'm just a bass player Subscriber Dec 30, 2019 #4 I thought this was a nice receiver and worth the time getting it work. Clean the mono/stereo switch. I think I had to clean all the switches to get mine working. Last edited: Dec 31, 2019

Ylli Super Member Dec 31, 2019 #5 I don't think it is the mono/stereo switch, I would more suspect the mode and/or tape monitor switch. Clean 'em all.
