Trying to fix this screeching noise on JVC TD-W805

I have a JVC TD-W805 that starts doing this kind of screeching noise every time a cassette is played. I have attached a video. It didn't always do this. When listening, the tapes sound fine but that noise is coming out of the deck itself.

Even if a tape is played on the right side of the cassette deck, that noise is always happening from the left side. After opening it up, I see that the sound is coming from here: https://imgur.com/a/jDJVaow which is right behind where you'd put the tape in on the left side.

I really don't have any experience with repairs but is there a fairly easy way to fix this? I think the noise is coming from in there but I am not even sure how to get inside that part.
