Tube Amp & APM200

MRL_Audio

RIP 2022
Is it ok to use a Realistic APM200 with a tube amp. I am interest in seeing the output with the APM just don't know if it's safe to use with a HK Cit II or Dynaco ST70 amp. Advice appreciated before I screw something up. Thanks for looking.

YEP! :thmbsp: but you might be disappointed to see that when it is really loud, you might be only reading 1 or 2 watts.

I've been using an APM-200 with both tube and SS amps for several years now, and I haven't had any issues. Always fun to watch those meters moving, especially on the high range. I also used to have a Philips oscilloscope hooked across its terminals, but sadly, something in the o'scope burned out. :sigh:
